NORGE in a nutshell

Telemark is a diverse county and is often characterized as a piece of NORWAY in miniature

From Coast to Mountain

The county stretches from the Skagerrak to the Hardangervidda. Telemark borders in the north and northeast to Buskerud, in the southeast to Vestfold, in the south and southwest to Aust-Agder and in the northwest to Rogaland and Hordaland. The coastline towards the Skagerrak extends from Gjernestangen at the border to Aust-Agder, the old Rygjarbit that separated Eastern Norway and Western Norway, to Håøya in Langesundsfjorden
